Exit Requirements :
Listed below are the minimum requirements for promotion to each grade level
at Toutle Lake Elementary. This list does not represent what the average student
will achieve. Most students will far exceed these requirements. They do mean
that a student has met a basic level of achievement and has the necessary skills
to go on to the next grade. IEP's will be used instead of these requirements
for special education students.

First Grade

Sixth Grade
Attendance: Students
must attend school at least 85% of the time. This is 153 school days. This
allows students to be absent 27 school days. A student who
is absent more than 15% of the time has not really experienced the grade they
are enrolled in and needs to repeat the experience.
